The river in that picture is Suzhou. I wrote about the Lou ye's film, Suzhou river(sorry in korean). In the film suzhou is people's lot. they live on a small boat in suzhou. it made in 2000. now, 2008, 8 years passed, there is nothing similar suzhou I know from the film. the water is still muddy but i couldnt feel anything. There are lots of apartments beside it in a place and a waste land in another place, maybe its scheduled for construction.
I was in a building where Chinese artists is gathered and exhibiting. the scenary through the window made me confusing. And I couldnt take photos with closed window
