My Blueberry Nights

Wang Kar wei's new film, My blueberry nights was made in 2007. And I saw it on 30th Dec 2007 in Shanghai.
Seeing a film timely is important. All of arts reflect, represent and imitate the reality. So feeling, thoughts after watching are different according as when we see it.
We often can not see because of many reason. So what if i see a film a later, I would understand it differently because the reality has been changing. Its the same that I would receive a letter from my dearest person like mother 2 or 3 years later. Could you imagine the time? Anything would happen to the person during the time..

Therefore going to Shanghai deserves to watch the film, My blueberry nights. And the letter is great! the director of photography is not Christopher Doyle, I(maybe you too) could notice its own wang's film though.
If you see wang' films you may know the story is about two people like each other, but can't associate with each other. they can only see their figures. And more things are their figures are reflected by mirror, refracted, hided by window. they can not even see straightly. wang kar wei says because of the realties in Hongkong.

So I heard he had made a film with Jude Law and Norah Jones in US, I couldnot imagine how he express Hongkong. And before the theater was getting darker i was still thinking how he express it.

First. after seeing My Blueberry Nights. I was really pleased. and I like the film. his style like step printing revive, and similar type of expression, for example the parallel tracking. But the story is different. I couldn't find anything about Hongkong. there is no space occupied by Honkong.
After going back from Shanghai I have thought and retraced it. As a result. I could conclude he is changed or has been changing.
The same story i said is changed in this film. they look at each other straightly and the story ends happy. That is a big big big change for him. Why is he changed? I dont know. But perhaps that is one of these two.
he thinks people in Hongkong is getting similar to american or others. or already same.
Or he became not to concern about Hongkong and people in it anymore.
the film shows the people who have their own will carving out their future. they have own sadness but overcome it. Its really good, but i don't still believe they are his people.
Another. it seemed to be so popular to gather an audience.
However the popularity is from his style ,step printing, tracking, something like that. those styling was 10 years ago as doing in fallen angels, Chungking express. did he go back to 10 years because of popularity??

btw Im sure My blueberry nights wil be released in Korea. I hope it wil be very soon....Please ..
