what i want from films

I like the movies, "Red Sorghum', 'Raise of the red Lantern', 'The Story of the Qui Ju', all of theose directed by Zhang Yimou.
From those movies, I could see his concern about life of the populace. He was the leader of the 5th generation of Chinese film before.
nowdays his new movie, "Course of the Golden Flower" is released.
in the movie we can't find any concern about the people but 'extravagance', 'covetousness'.
Now he became an leader of chinese commercial movies.
it might be not his fault. because most of the people over the world, even highbrows want 'extravagance', 'covetousness'.
in China, "still life' is also released at the same time.

Audiences turned away 'still life', while 'Course of the Golden flower' is earming 3 hundred million Yuan.

in 2008, Olympic will be held in Beijing, China. Zhang Yimou is the general director of the opening ceremony.
I'm afraid of that because he never come back.
